After her day of babysitting Nova felt much more confident that she could handle being a mother. She went to pick up a book on parenting at the shop nearby just in case, one for Xipilli as well. She was still getting used to walking everywhere now. She didn't fly much lately because of the added weight from her pregnancy. As she got back to the castle she heard a familiar filly call her name.
"Nova!" A little dark blue filly ran up to her and placed her front hooves on her chest
"Hello Nightfly" She lifted a hoof and ruffled her mane slightly
"What're you doing here?" Nova asked then she saw in the next room her mother and Princess Luna sitting at a table, watching them. They had tea next to them and she guessed they were talking about something. Maybe her brother, looking back at Nightfly the filly spoke
"I wanted to come and see you" She then looked over at her belly
"You're going to be a mommy soon right?" Nova nodded
"Yes" She smiled then her eyes widened as the next question left her
"C-Can I hold her when she comes out...?" Nightfly asked cautiously
"Of course you can. Though... 'Right away' you probably wouldn't like" Nova laughed lightly
"Also she? Do you think I'm going to have a girl?" She asked and Nightfly nodded
"Well I guess we'll just have to wait and see if you're right. C'mon I need to put these books away you can come with me" She smiled at the filly again as she began to walk to her room with Nightfly following
